Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms apply when you use Fast Theory at fasttheorytest.co.uk (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Fast Theory is an online practice service for the UK driving theory test, run by Fast Theory Test in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@fasttheorytest.co.uk.

2. What the Service is

Fast Theory offers revision questions, mock tests, explanations and progress tracking for the car, motorcycle, lorry, bus and coach and approved driving instructor (ADI part 1) theory tests. It is a study aid. It does not book tests, and using it does not guarantee that you will pass.

Fast Theory is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). Crown copyright material is reproduced under licence from the DVSA, which does not accept any responsibility for the accuracy of the reproduction. Questions in the real test may differ from the questions in the Service.

3. Your account

4. Free and paid access

Part of the Service is free. Premium access unlocks more content for a fixed period (for example 60, 120 or 180 days), shown with its price before you pay.

5. Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Premium access is digital content that starts as soon as you pay. When you buy, you ask us to give you access straight away and you accept that you lose the 14 day right to cancel once access has started.

This does not affect your other legal rights. If the Service is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right or give you a refund where the law requires it.

6. Fair use

You must not:

7. Content and intellectual property

The Service, its design, software and our own explanations belong to Fast Theory or our licensors. DVSA material is Crown copyright, used under licence. You may use the Service for your own personal study only.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update questions, features and these terms. If a change to these terms affects you significantly we will tell you in the Service before it takes effect.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business losses, or for the result of your driving test. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close an account without a good reason, we will refund any unused premium time.

11. Privacy

How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem.
